Mario Industries is one of the oldest family-owned lighting manufacturers in the United States, having been formed in 1922. It is located in the beautiful city of Roanoke, Virginia along side the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mario Contract Lighting, often referred to as MCL, manufactures lighting domestically as well as imported lighting for the hospitality industry. MCL prides ourselves on custom capabilities for guestroom and public area lighting.
A Family-owned Business
Through each generation we’ve seen growth and change. From Mario’s son (Vito) moving the company to Mount Vernon, NY, to his grandson Louis moving it to Roanoke, Virginia, to our relocation to a 100,000 square foot complete manufacturing facility, we’ve maintained our focus and commitment to Mario’s pledge.

Our Custom Capabilities include Metal Fabrication, Ceramic Casting, Acrylic Work, Wood Work, Custom Lamp Shades and Material Finishing. Also each order is ‘Made to Order’. Which means each project is custom made to meet individual project requirements

From casting Ceramic bodies to custom cut plasma patterns, Mario can offer complete domestic production of the Interior Lighting Products for your next hospitality design project. We offer low minimum order quantities and shorter lead times as compared to imported lighting.

From Metal to Wood to Ceramics, we have a fully equipped factory here in Roanoke, VA and a few select factories in China. Just to offer a perspective, we can handle a lamp shade as small as 3 inch to a ceiling fixture as large as 72 inch in Diameter. We can make your custom project come to life in a variety of materials.
